FAQs

Why $200 Per Hour? That seems like a lot for photos.
That pricing is low to mid-tier when it comes to photography. It doesn’t only include the time I’m there photographing the event but also the editing that goes into it. I only charge the time I’m at the event, but there is still work to be done after. You’re also getting all of the images in a high-resolution format. I do not sell prints or individual photos. These are yours to share, post, and print as you like.

How Many Photos Will I Get?
Depending on the event, this will vary, but I usually get around 25 to 100 finalized images per hour.

Can You Take Group Shots?
While I am at the shoot, if you would like me to take a team/group photo(s), I am happy to do so. You are paying for my time to be there, so if you have any requests, let me know.

Can I Print The Photos You Take?
Yes. While I ultimately retain the copyrights to these photos as they are my art, you have the right to share, post, and print them.

What If My Event Is Less Than An Hour?
My minimum fee is $100, regardless of how short the need is.

Do Have Special Pricing For Non-Profit Organizations?
I am willing to work with non-profit organizations with special pricing, depending on the organization and the event.

How Do You Handle Multiple Performances at Large Events?
The $200/Hr still applies to how long I am out at the event. I would recommend getting with other organizations and see if they’re willing to help go in and help pay for the time I’m there to shoot their organizations. For instance, if you have performances scattered throughout a five-hour event, it would be $1,000 for the shoot, but you can recruit other organizations that also fall in between to help cover the cost. You could have another organization added on and help split that cost. I can also hang with your organization and take “behind-the-scenes” photos, or if parents want to take pics with their kids while they’re waiting for the next performance, those are all options as well.

What Happens If Your Pricing Changes?
When you are quoted a price and a date is set, that price stays regardless of my pricing change. However, I will give you the lower price if my pricing decreases. There are no refunds on events that have been agreed to and photographed in the past.

When Do I Have To Pay You?
The full payment is due before or on the day of the shoot.

How Do I Pay You?
I accept cash, check, or Zelle payments.

What If I Don’t Like My Photos?
If your photos do not represent the quality of my portfolio, I’m happy to work on a refund with you. But it will be up to my discretion to determine if the photos do not meet my standards.

Will You Release the RAW Images?
No.

Do You Do Portraits?
I am willing to discuss, depending on the situation.

I’m A Photographer. Can I Hire You As A Second/Assistant Photographer?
I’m happy to be an assistant and take additional/event detail photos. This is something we can discuss in further detail should the need arise.

Pricing and details are subject to change at any time. This will not affect those already in the books. Please feel free to contact me at any time for more details or questions you may have.

How much would it cost to create a logo?
Each project is completely different. It is hard to give set prices when each ask is different. I don’t do packages because sometimes projects are quick, and sometimes they run longer. I try to be fair to my clients and charge them only what they deserve to be charged. Here are some examples:

Logo Design: 2 to 8 Hours
Flyer/Postcard Design: 1 to 5 Hours
Brochure Design: 2 to 10 Hours
Custom Illustrations: 2 to 20 Hours
